Merry Christmas from Jonathan and Beverly Roberts and Family.

Greetings! To all our family and friends!  We have been enjoying your Christmas cards, letters, and pictures and appreciate each of you staying in touch with us.  We pray that each of you are well and happy.

Danielle and Michael are living in Orem , Utah , while Danielle finishes her teaching internship in Elementary Education.  She is teaching 2nd grade in the Alpine School District and loves it.  She will graduate from BYU in April.  Michael finished his degree in Electrical Engineering last December, and has been working full-time in Provo for Intelliserve.  We are grateful for his patience as he waits for Danielle to complete her degree as well.  He is making applications now for Graduate School next fall.

Mark is serving as a full-time missionary in the California Los Angeles Spanish-speaking Mission , and loves it! He enjoys teaching and working with the people.  He has already served 11 months, which is hard for us to believe. Mark has had companions from Canada , Puerto Rico, SLC & Delta, Utah , and Boise , Idaho !  His current one is from Korea and is still learning English.  Mark was even able to help a little with the clean-up from the devastating California fires

Celeste is 17 and getting prettier every day.  She’s in her senior year and is excited about college.  She’s applied to BYU Provo and Idaho , and is still awaiting their decisions.  She’s working at a Thai restaurant as a waitress and is grateful to people who give good tips since she’s saving for college.  Celeste still takes piano lessons, and sings in her high school choir.  Mostly, she just loves planning the social calendar for the weekend so she can “hang out” with her friends

Kirsten is 13 and still has her very blonde hair.  It makes it easy to pick out at her soccer games or orchestra concerts where she plays violin.  Kirsten really loves soccer and is always sad when the season is over.  She is known on her team for speed and agility.  She hopes to make the school team this spring.  She still takes piano as well, and has improved a great deal this year.  She’s a great friend and misses her friends who now go to another school since it was divided.

David is 9 and keeps us on our toes! He has suddenly developed a new-found love of football that he never had before.  He wants to play it on video games, with his friends in the backyard, and is pushing Mom to let him play on the kid’s city league next fall.  David received a dog for his birthday this year, and the rest of the family was shocked that David wore Mom down to the breaking point!  But, he really loves Riley and she’s cute too.  He also plays soccer.

Jonathan and Beverly are happily married after almost 25 years (this April). As you can see, we are all great BYU fans.  This had to be a record-breaking year for us when it comes to trips to Utah and northern California (some of those were for BYU games in Provo ).

We like the Game Plan!

Love,  The Roberts’ Family
